2012 • Founder at Sicilian Ancestry
I founded Sicilian Ancestry with over ten years of genealogy experience behind me. Over the years, the company has grown rapidly and we have achieved all our goals. Our services have been sold in dozens of countries, from East to West, to thousands of clients, all of whom share a common characteristic: Sicilian blood.
2017 • Family Book
Four years of work, nearly four hundred pages, half a millennium of my family's history to be preserved forever.
2017 • Who Do You Think You Are (US)
It was an honor to do research for the U.S. TV series "Who Do You Think You Are?" and to shed light on the genealogy of the famous person I was working on. Want me to tell you who he is? We will have to wait for the episode!
2019 • Sorbello Genealogy
I began by indexing all the Sorbellos who lived from the late fifteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century. The indexing work has led to the creation of an extraordinary family tree: all the Sorbellos living today descend from two different ancestors who lived at the end of the 1400s, creating two large geographical groups that spread around the Etna area. Which country did these two individuals leave before arriving in Sicily? The work of the coming years aims to answer this question.
2022 • Who Do You Think You Are (AU)
Another research collaboration with the TV series "Who Do You Think You Are?", this time with the Australian version!
2022 • Scientific publication: history of the city of Riposto
In the more and more interconnected reality we are living, Historical Archives, Genome and Big Data strive for new perspectives of historical knowledge. Thanks to a combination of powerful algorithms, these two disciplines and Big Data technology were capable of showing the interwoven threads of historical knowledge hidden within the documents of the archives of the city of Riposto.
